Time Out for the Classics - Airs Songs of Devotion, Sacred Music, Gregorian Chants, Classical Italian Songs, Opera and Symphonic Music, News and Interviews with Artists from Around the World. Dino has been with WCAR 1090 for the past 33 years. He is dedicated to the preservation and education of opera and sacred liturgical music.

In the beininning WCAR was an ethnic and talk show network. Dino worked with some giants; Bob Allison, "Ask Your Neighbor" Deano Day's Country Music, Lou Gordon, Soupy Sales, Robin Seymor, Alex Karras. He interviewed live; Luciano Pavarotti, Placido Domingo, Jose Carrera, Sophia Lauren, Sammy Davis Jr., Sergio Franchi, and many others.

WCAR has served the community with public service announcements, and announcements for the following establishments for many years: DIA, Detroit Symphony Orchestra, The Fisher Theatre, Orchestra Hall, Michigan Opera Theatre, Ford Community and Performing Arts, Dearborn Orchestral Society, Macomb Center for the Performing Arts, Windsor Symphony Orchestra, Madonna University, Holy Family Church, Fr. Justin's Rosary Hour, The Italian Consulate, Andiamo Celebrity Show Room, Cafe Cortina, Amantea's, Freedom Hill Banquet Center, Greco Title, Fair Lane Ford, Crestwood Dodge, The Ciociaro and Caboto Club of Windsor, Zerbo's Health Foods, and all clubs and Fraternal Oranizations in our Area.

Artistic Director - As Artistic Director, Dino does many beautiful Outreach Concerts - this fall there will be two concerts in honor of Our Lady of the Mystical Rose

During the grand opening of Michigan Catholic Radio, Mr. Valle wrote three sacred songs; an Ave Maria, Pater Noster and Agnus Dei . These were blessed with the Imprimatur of Cardinal Adam Maida.  He told Mr. Valle to take his voice to all the Churches in our Diocese and evangelize our people.

Commendatore Dino Valle

Commendatore Valle was knighted by the sovereign order of St. John of Jerusalem "Knights of Malta" and appointed "Commendatore Gerosomilitano of the Glorious Knights of Malta" by Cardinal Quattrini from Vatican City, for his contribution as a performer, broadcasting news, events, music, opera, culture and liturgical sacred music via pilgrimages and concerts in the most beautiful cathedrals and churches in the world, performing at Saint Mary Major and in Saint Peter's Cathedral for Pope John Paul II and for Cardinal Edmund Szoka. This was his "most cherished performance" Pope John Paul II called him "A true exponent of opera and fine arts" and Cardinal Szoka gave his blessing.

Commendatore Dino Valle, verdian baritone, a native of Italy, came to the United States at age sixteen. While studying voice(opera and drama) at the Detroit Institute of Musical Arts, he one first prize for the Mario Lanza voice competition, in recognition of his beautiful voice. He studied voice and music with Maestro Elio Gennari, a colleague of tenor Mario Del Monaco and Franco Corelli, at the Detroit Institute of Musical Arts, Madonna University, and Indiana University School of Music, where he attended master classes with mezzo soprano Martha Lipton, Soprano Virginia Zeani and Metropolitan Opera coach, Joan Dorneman. He made his operatic debut as "Conte Monterone" with the Michigan Opera Theatre production of Giuseppe Verdi's "Rigoletto". He was the featured baritone in the Toledo Operas outreach program, "Pagliacci & Cavalleria Rusticana", directed by James Meena. He was the star of his own TV show "Milleluci" for a year and a half, a program that showcased top Italian and American Talent, singers, dancers, local orchestras and geographical views of Italy.

Some important and more recent roles; he was the featured baritone at Detroit Symphony Orchestra Hall with sopranos Fidan & Huraman Kasimova from Baku Azerbaijan under the direction of Volodymyr Schesuik of the Livonia Symphony Orchestra, he performed with Detroit Symphony at Orchestra Hall, performing in the highly acclaimed concert "The 3 Baritones" with metropolitan opera legend, the late, Pablo Elvira along with Quinto Milito and Maestro Russell Reed of the Plymouth Symphony Orchestra. Pablo Elvira frequently commented about their two voices being undistinguishable.  Pablo Elvira was "The Barber" of our generation - an icon. He also performed at Detroit Opera House with legendary Basso, Michele Pertusi, along with the Parma Opera ensemble, in a rousing duet from Verdi's Attila. Thet duet was received with thunderous applause. He has performed with the Dearborn Symphony Orchestra, under the baton of Maestro Leslie Dunner, in the concert version of "La Traviata" as "Giorgio Germont", The "Barber of Seville" as "Don Basilio", and "I Pagliacci" as "Tonio". Mr. Valle has been praised by, Luciano Pavarotti, Carlo Bergonzi and Sherrill Milnes "Bella Voce".Mr. Valle sang most recently with the Birmingham - Bloomfield Symphony and the Rackham Symphony Choir, both were directed by Michigan Opera Theatre's conductor, Suzanne Acton. In the production of La Traviata and L'Elisir D'Amore. Mr. Valle sang the roles of Germont and Dr. Dulcamara. Suzanne Acton commented, " these two roles were meant for Dino Valle".

Mr. Valle is the founder and Artistic Director of the "Verdi Opera Theatre of Michigan" & "The Statue of Enrico Caruso Society" (The statue of Enrico Caruso is now on display at the Detroit Opera House/Michigan Opera Theater), which are dedicated to the preservation and education of opera.
